North Dakota’s Vision Zero initiative is guided by the state’s Vision Zero Plan (Strategic Highway Safety Plan). This plan brings together input from the NDDOT and partners from state, local and Tribal governments, as well as public and private organizations across the state.
The plan uses data to identify where and how to improve highway safety in North Dakota. It outlines strategies focused on education, safer road design, policy improvements and other proven solutions to help prevent traffic deaths and serious injuries.
