Impact Teen Drivers is an evidence-based traffic safety education program designed to help teens understand the risks of distracted and unsafe driving. The program focuses on real-life situations and encourages safer decision-making for both drivers and passengers.
Using personal stories, discussion, and interactive learning, without the use of graphic images, this program helps teens connect emotionally to the importance of safe driving.
Impact Teen Drivers uses a multi-layered approach to reach teens and the influential adults in their lives. The programming is engaging, age-appropriate, and highly relevant to everyday driving. Available options include:
- Teen-focused safety presentations
- Interactive online learning modules for students
- Parent-teen workshops
- Train-the-trainer sessions for educators, law enforcement, and community leaders
- Webinars and distance learning options
Through partnerships with the NDDOT, the North Dakota Association of Counties, and Vision Zero, Impact Teen Drivers programming is available at no cost to North Dakota schools and communities.
