He was going to work during a spring winter storm. An oncoming vehicle swerved to miss an abandoned pickup topper in the middle of the road, lost control due to icy road conditions and skidded into Delbert’s vehicle. He was alone in his suburban. Out of the 5 people involved, he was the only one that died.
Delbert was such a great man with a huge heart. He would help anyone in need and family was his priority. A huge loss for our small community.
Delbert is missed in our community. He was kind hearted and loved his family.
Delbert has a huge heart and anyone who was blessed to know him would agree. The loss of such a great guy is an unimaginable loss to his family and to our little community! Continued prayers to his family.

It was always a joy talking with Delbert and hearing his jokes and stories. He treated me like his own child and was always there to lend a helping hand. So much love and respect for him.
