Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Honor Top DUI Enforcement Officers During Vision Zero All-Star Night

Sixteen law enforcement officers from eastern North Dakota were recognized during Vision Zero DUI Enforcement All-Star Night on Aug. 17 at Newman Outdoor Field before the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took on the Sioux Falls Canaries. 

Now in its third year, the Vision Zero DUI Enforcement All-Star program recognizes law enforcement officers across North Dakota for their outstanding commitment to impaired driving enforcement. This year’s event marked the second partnership with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. 

“Our law enforcement officers play a vital role in keeping North Dakota roads safe,” said Ryan Gellner, Vision Zero outreach program director. “We are proud to recognize their commitment to impaired driving enforcement and thank them for the work they do every day to prevent crashes, save lives and help move us closer to zero fatalities.” 

The officers were recognized during a special on-field ceremony before the first pitch and throughout the game with announcements thanking them for removing impaired drivers from North Dakota roadways. Fans also had the opportunity to visit the Vision Zero booth to learn more about impaired driving prevention and the importance of always driving sober or planning a sober ride.
